John Nowak

Studied Art & Design at Edinburgh College of Art and began showing work in 2012 with a solo exhibition of paintings, photographs and films at the National Mining Museum Scotland following a year long project at the derelict Lady Victoria coal mine.

Main interests now are in extending an involvement in community based art projects and in developing his art practice exploring the possibilities of abstraction, through the mediums of painting and film - aiming to make visible, music and other sounds, that are by their very nature, invisible.

BA (Hons) Painting degree in 2015.

Lives and works in Edinburgh.
